Gulab jamoon by sweet potato

Recipe📝

Ingredients:
🔖2 cups sweet potato, mashed
🔖2 tbsp maida
🔖1/2 tsp elaichi/cardamom powder
🔖1 pinch salt
🔖2-3 tbsp sugar
🔖2 cups ghee, or oil for deep frying

For syrup:
🔖1 cup water
🔖2 cups sugar
🔖2-3 drops Rose water
🔖4-5 strands saffron (optional) 
Procedure:
✔Boil the Sweet Potatoes peel & mash them. ✔To it add maida & salt & mix well. Knead to make a soft and smooth dough. ✔Now take a lemon sized pinch of the dough flatten it slightly & add around 1/4 tsp of sugar in the centre, close & roll to make a smooth ball. ✔Similarly make 12-15 balls from the dough & keep it aside. ✔Meanwhile make the sugar syrup. Take sugar and water in a kadhai & boil till sugar dissolves. ✔Add Rose water & saffron (optional) into it & boil for another 4-5 minutes. No need to make 1 string syrup. ✔Collect the syrup in a separate bowl & keep aside. ✔Heat ghee/oil in a kadhai or pan & once the oil is hot, simmer the gas & carefully drop in the dough balls. ✔Fry the jamuns till deep golden colour from all the sides. ✔Collect the Fried jamuns & drop them in the sugar syrup & let them soak well. 
And its done. Enjoy your Gulab Jamuns hot/warm/cold.
